This site is recommended for viewing the sunrise. The rays of the sun slowly illuminate the tips of the mountain range directly in front of the viewing area.
The sun rises behind you. There are many trails in this area. If you look closely at picture 11, you will see tiny people wandering the colorful hills. Look at the red ridge in the shadows, about mid picture.
