On the way to Crater Lake we passed through many burned out forests. The snow build up was slow as we ascended. Eventually getting over 7 feet deep.
Once we reached the crater, we were able to stand so close to the edge, it seemed we could easily fall over. The lake was absolutely still and a perfect mirror. The view is breathtaking!
