Hailey was the last stop in a long chain of visiting friends & family. Martha’s friend graciously allowed us to moochdock on their property. They fed us and entertained us. We fed on their homegrown lettuce for a week after we left.
Hailey is a quiet, beautiful small town with neat little eateries and several breweries. The 4th of July parade was really fun and had over 100 entries. We enjoyed biking to Ketchum (30 mi round trip) on one of the many bike trails in the area.
Our hosts introduced us to the most amazing free spirit. He has been able to spend a good portion of his life building dreamworks construction using only recycled materials. Even the house he lives in. Everything you see he constructed by hand, even the large works.
