We came to see the Smoky Mountain National park, but only managed two days before weather forced us away. We drove into the park along one of the parks main access roads, some areas were still closed due to recent hurricane damage.
The Tennesse, North Carolina State line passes through the peak of the Smoky Mountains. Great photo op.
As we drove the park, the Elk were right at the roadside. Everyone was stopping. We would like to return someday when the weather is warmer and less agressive.
