We took an Airboat tour through the Everglades. An exhilarating ride, where the boat often went completely sideways. The tourguide gave a ton of information about the area and its inhabitants. We saw many alligators and a couple babies only 10 inches long. At the end we came upon a large softshell turtle.
We first drove to the oceans edge of this part of the Everglades and watched pelicans fishing by diving headfirst into the water. Then we went to the vistors center. We also did a boardwalk through a swamp and watched a gator chase some ducks.

They like to cluster close
