Here, There & Everywhere

Las Vegas – The Strip

01-23-24 to 01-30-24

We saw some interesting rock on the drive to Las Vegas, The entire area of southwest US is this same flat crumble of various degrees. Each zone is unique. Every thing looks like a post card. Even the piles of tumbleweeds we come across look artistic somehow.

We found an affordable park that was also central to getting around. Arizona Charlies Casino and RV Park Resort… This part of the country has Casinos everywhere. The park was a very tight fit. The smallest we’ve been in yet.

We spent a day on the strip getting a sense of where everything was, and then went for the day. The spectacle is really the attraction.

For Martha and I, the gambling aspects seemed almost boring. With everything digitized, the Casino floor is oddly quiet. We both have been to the Casinos in the old days. All that glitz is gone. That being said, the city is alive with things to do and visit. People watching is an endless entertainment.
