We found Pahrump, because thats where the Escapee park was. As members, we get a huge discount staying there. The park was amazing. We played pool, and even used the club house to practice dancing. We washed Arvey and JT.
Turns out, Pahrump is on the main road into Death Valley. We had planned to boondock at one of the three park areas that offer Clean Water fill and dump site only.
And surprise, surprise, deep in Pahrump, Martha found a French Patisserie that had excellent Canele.
We home based our trips into the valley from here. The SKP park was yet another excellent find. We now hunt for them and plan stops around their locations. We have an entire month at the SKP park out on Mt Olympus in May.
