We had thought Columbia MO was a potential target for moving to. Everyone we talked to in Columbia pointed us to Springfield as having better weather and living conditions. While in Springfield we joined the YMCA. We used the rooms for practicing our dance, did laps in the pool, played racquetball and even had a lesson in Pickleball. Springfield is getting better and better.
The city was resource ripe, without being over built. We were there a month and visited the Aquarium and spent many afternoons with the kitties at a large nearby park.
We found a local dance club with a large floor. We even had a patron come complement us on bringing partner based country dance to a mostly line dancing community.
