While staying at Davis Mountain State Park, just outside of Ft Davis, we attended a Star Party at McDonald Observatory. The Star Party was held in the amphitheater on the left edge (center) of picture #2.
We got to look through 5 different telescopes. These are the darkest skies in the country. Amazing how many stars are visible!
Greg got great pictures of the Milky Way.
