In Chisos Basin there is a trail that takes you to a formation called The Window. The Window is the top of a 200 ft waterfall, which flows only when it’s raining.
The V in the rock right behind us in picture #1 is the top of the window. We hiked the 5 miles round trip to see it; downhill all the way there, uphill all the way back. Right below where we are sitting in the picture we saw a tarantula just minutes after the picture was taken. (See Animals Post)
The rock at the top of the waterfall is so slippery, you could not stand in The Window if the water was flowing.
