The trail to the falls is really quite long and is very steep in places, but worth the walk. The river before the falls has dug several tube like chambers from years of wter erosion. The falls occur through an opening in a basalt formation. The shapes are very geometric.
Watson Falls (pics 15 – 27) is the tallest waterfall in Southern Oregon. The trail up follows the river descending from the falls. There is a viewing platform spanning the river halfway to the falls.
